Some of my favorite things to shop for on Amazon Prime Day have always been travel products. Over the years I've scored some pretty awesome deals on travel gear and products that I still use to this day.
In this post I'll be sharing some of my favorite Amazon Prime Day 2023 deals for some of my favorite travel gear and products.
Remember, as always, and as stated in my Terms and Conditions , I NEVER recommend a product simply to make a commission. If I'm recommending it, it means I use it myself, and swear by it to stand the test of time (or also in this case two children who have the tendency to easily break things).
I've divided up the following products based on how I use them myself, and how I pack our luggage. I use different products for my kids, different ones for carry on bags, to organize our luggage, etc.
Whatever you choose to purchase, I guarantee these products will help make your travels more organized, and easier, helping you enjoy that vacation much better.
Happy shopping fellow family travelers!
Kids Travel Products
- My Favorite headphones for kids of all ages: This is the first brand of headphones I ever purchased for my kids. I've used them for toddlers through older kids. When I say these are durable, I mean THEY'RE DURABLE!! They lasted for YEARS before I had to replace them finally. (Honestly we had them for so long, even my kids were asking me to finally replace them.) For under $30 at their regular price, they look just like the more expensive headphones, but for a price I'm not too worried about them manhandling (or kid-handling which is much worse in my opinion). Plus for Prime Day they're on sale for 20 percent off!
- My favorite bluetooth headphones for kids: Once my kids got a little older, they wanted the option to use the bluetooth setting on their devices. This is the best brand of bluetooth headphones I've used so far, thats still within a reasonable price point. These headphones not only have the option to be both bluetooth accessible and wired with the additional wired cord that comes with it, but they also fold in half for easy storage inside backpacks and carry on bags. It's also on sale this week for 20 percent off!
- Favorite Travel Booster Seat : This booster seat is inflatable, and can fold completely flat when the air is deflated out of it. I don't even rent or bring my own boosters anymore, I simply bring this with me in my carry-on bag and inflate it at the car rental area. It can also be a good solution for when you need a quick booster solution in an Uber or taxi, but not the rest of your trip, as it can be deflated and then re-inflated easily. It's on sale for $27.99!
- This car travel tray that's great to use for road trips. Kids can eat on it, color, play, drink, use their electronic devices, and won't make a mess in the car. There are compartments for all their items, and it's waterproof and wipeable. This is an absolute must for us during road trips!
- This airplane travel tray that's great for air travel .This tray is also a must for us during air travel, as it offers a place for my kids to put all their items in a secure place in their seat. They can hold their toys, snacks, drinks, Ipad, etc.
Packing Items
- This large Samsonite luggage : We've been using Samsonite luggage for years and years now. I know there are plenty of other brands out there, and I know Samsonite isn't always the most "Instagrammable" of the bunch—but it's dang durable. We've had our luggage thrown around, tossed, and had all the things done to it over the years that luggage handlers do at airports. And they're still going strong. That's why I specifically recommend this brand. And the reason why I specifically chose this item is because it's the LARGE size. I'm personally not a fan of luggage sets as I don't think they're always a good value. I much prefer to purchase the individual sizes I know I'm going to use instead of ending up with a bunch of medium sized luggages I'll rarely use. When you're packing for a family there are really only two main sizes you need: Large and Carry-On. This specific one is currently only $128 for Prime Day—which is a great deal from it's original price of $279!
- These packing cubes that are used to organize your items inside your luggage. Packing Cubes are a literal game-changer when it comes to travel. You'll never have to dig through your luggage for your baby's tiny sock (or yours) ever again if you use these! They're also the number one thing I recommend to ALL travelers, and have gifted them as well, because I believe wholeheartedly in them. (Yes, I know that's a lot of emotional weight attached to one piece of fabric, but I believe in their organizational power.) I suggest buying one set for each member of your family, as they can be used to organize multiple people's items in one luggage, making family travel so much easier.
- These compression packing cubes that are used to compress items in your luggage, doubling your space! I love these for bulkier items such as coats and all those princess dresses I bring for our girls on our Disney trips. They hold way more than you think! In fact, I can usually fit about 9 poofy princess dresses in the large size!
- These organizer pouches are amazing both for travel and in the house. I use them to organize toys, games, clothes, etc. They're waterproof so they can be used in swim bags, or to put wet clothes inside, or to organize your kids items inside their luggage and carry on bags, which I love doing. They come in different sizes, so they're ideal for a variety of items. They're on sale for $17 for Prime Day!
- This luggage scale that's used to weigh your luggage. No more having to hold your luggage on top of your bathroom scale—or even worse, waiting until you reach the airport to weigh it. With this you get an accurate weight easily! The weight unit can also be changed depending on which country you're in, whether that be in pounds or kilograms.
Personal Travel Items
- This makeup bag that's gone viral and for good reason! I love this bag. It's great for makeup and toiletries, holds a lot, and can be folded compactly. It's on sale for $16, which is even lower than the price I originally purchased it!
- This makeup brush organizer that can hold a TON of brushes and folds extremely compactly. It's honestly the best way I've ever stored my makeup brushes for travel, and haven't looked back since I got it! If you travel with makeup brushes YOU NEED THIS! Thank me later.
- This slim passport and money holder that can hold both your passports and money very discreetly. They fit a lot more than you'd think (we can actually fit 4 passports in these!) and nobody will know you're carrying them, making all your discreet items much less likely to be stolen.
- This tote bag organizer with a zipper. I use this organizer inside all of my totes, including my travel totes. I love that it has a zipper, so even in my open totes my items stay secure, and it comes in a bunch of different colors to match their interiors. This specific one is also waterproof, washable, and comes with tons of organizational features and pockets of all sizes.
road trip must-haves
- This car trunk organizer that can store all your odds and ends securely. I don't only use mine on road trips, but throughout the whole year. I love that there are multiple compartments in this, it can close if needed, doesn't slide around the trunk, and even comes with a cooler that works great! It's currently on sale for $44 for Prime Day!
- This car trash can that can hold a TON of trash. It fits compactly in between the seats, and can fit in front of the seats as well.
- These mini trash cans that can fit on the side of the door! They're adorable, and provide the perfect solution for everyone to stop putting their trash in the side of the door (no, just in my family?)
Air Travel
- These airplane pockets that have saved my entire air travel world and made me less anxious about my kids sticking their hands inside their dirty airplane seat pockets (which flight attendants have admitted rarely get cleaned). I like to think of this as my emotional support airplane item. It stores SO MUCH and covers the dirty tray tables and seat pocket completely, plus it offers way more organization.
